From Nov. 1 to Dec. 1 , Fondazione Claudia Lombardi per il teatro is selecting performance projects for the sixth consecutive year to host a week-long artistic residency in 2026.

The call is for Italian-language projects by professional artists from Switzerland and Lombardy involving a maximum of four people. Prose, theater and music, and physical theater performances are eligible. Children’s theater and circus arts projects, however, are not eligible.

The artistic residency offers theatre companies the opportunity to devote meaningful time to the research and experimentation leading to the development of a new show.

With this project, the Foundation intends to support artists by creating for them – with the provision of working rooms, per diem, lodging, counseling and communication services – the best conditions to refine their poetics, to fully explore the potential of their expressive language and thus be able to grow artistically.
