​From the 1st of November to the 1st of December, Fondazione Claudia Lombardi per il teatro will, for the sixth consecutive year, select projects to be hosted as part of a week-long artistic residency in 2027.

This call for proposals is open to Italian-language projects by professional artists from Switzerland and Lombardy involving no more than four people. Eligible projects include spoken-word performances, theater, music, and physical theater. Children’s theater and circus arts projects are not eligible.

The artistic residency gives theatre companies the opportunity to devote quality time to the research and experimentation involved in creating a performance.

Through this project, the Foundation aims to support artists by providing them with the best possible conditions—including studio space, a daily stipend, housing, and advisory and communication services—to refine their artistic vision, fully explore the potential of their expressive language, and grow artistically.
